Processing
We take raw fiber all the way through to rovings. This includes skirting,
scouring (washing), picking, fiber separating, and carding your into bumps
of roving bumps.

It is highly recommended that you do your own skirtin as the cost is based on
weight in. The better job you do the less cost to you.
Additionally you can expect a 30% minimum up to 50% loss of fiber. Remember
we are washing out all the dirt, feces, etc as well as removing as much veggie
matter as possible and that all has weight. There is also additional fiber loss
as it goes through our machinery. Some stays behind in the fiber separator
and carder. The finer the fiber the greater the loss (sorry). Some is lost in the
transition from one batch to another. The larger your batches the less the loss.
